4 Wheel Drive/SUVs: ford F-150 - overheating engine, ford f 150, ford parts

Question
My ford pu overheats within 5 minutes of driving every a.m.
I stop engine for 1 minute - restart and usually do not have an overheating problem throughout the day of stop and go driving.
Thermostat was replaced- ford parts &-still overheats.
Another mechanic recommended pulling engine- new gaskets, ie?

Any ideas of fixes and repairs?

I dont think pulling the engine to put new gaskets is the plan... If you let it sit for 1 min, and than you can drive it the rest of the day just fine, it sounds like it still might be a sticky thermostat . All parts are made in china well 99 % of them they still break... lol ... Are you sure your gauge is working right ? Does it actually boil over ? ADAM
