Suzuki: 1997 sidekick clutch cable, suzuki sidekick jx, suzuki sidekick

Question
I just replaced my clutch cable on my 1997 suzuki sidekick jx and now it wont start it acts like theres not even a motor there to turn over ive checked the fuses and the battery for proper charge but i still cant get it to turn over ... the safety mechanism for the clutch has been previously disengaged by another individual but it was working fine until i parked it and changed the cable .. what gives its soo frustrating please help

Answer
If you mean that the starter doesn't do anything, consider that the starter is on the same side as the clutch cable end, and it's possible that the solenoid wire could have been inadvertently unplugged.  Yeah, I did that to myself once.
if you have to, jump power to the solenoid, making certain it's not in gear first, and then find out if the wire is supplying power to the starter.
