Suzuki: Suzuki SJ410 transfer box, suzuki sj410, prybar

Question
Wath could have broken in the box if I can't get High range 4x4 drive.  When I selected High range I heard a noise as if something had broken.

Answer
I can't answer that without seeing it apart.
They're pretty easy to take apart.
the only hard part is taking the three drive flanges off.
You either use an impact wrench or thread bolts in the holes and use a big prybar to keep the flange from turning.
Then take the shifter out, the switches off, and unbolt the small cover then the half bolts, and take it apart.
I strongly suggest a factory manual.
