Suzuki: How do you turn off check engine light?, suzuki samurai, fuse box

Question
I have a 1990 Suzuki Samurai it just rolled over 100,000 miles and the check engine light came on. I have tried disconnecting the negative cable on battery, didn't work. I tried putting a fuse in the diagnostic slot on the fuse box but it didn't do anything.

Answer
There's a small 2 position switch under the dash in the vicinity of the steering column roughly above where you knees are (or maybe slightly further forward).  just move it from the position it's in to the other position, and the light will go out until the switch in the speedometer cluster turns it back on about 50k later.  DO check that the oxy sensor is functioning, and that the mixture is roughly ok.
