Suzuki: Suzuki Samurai Clutch Cables, clutch cables, cable sheath

Question
Can you advise me regarding which manufacturers of Samurai clutch cables actually use the metal wrapped sheathing as used to be in the cables of old?  I am not referring to old Suzuki clutch cables.  Bicycle cables used to be made this way.  There was sort of an internal spring or coil that the cable slid inside of.  The metal wrapping prevented the cable sheath from ever collapsing, as, it seems, most of the replacement cables do nowadays.

Answer
I haven't taken any apart to see, and just buy mine from one of the sources available in the links section of izook.com.  The less expensive ones are lower quality, as we all well know, you get what you pay for.
I personally keep a spare of each cable in the vehicle.
