wanting to convert a 90 geo tracker 2wd to 4x4 with a 86 samurai front end and t-case? easy/hard ,any info would be solid! and also wanted to know if i could put a 1.3 samurai head on a 1.6(8valve)geot tracker motor? possible? and would it be worth doing and what would i gain from it ? thanx!! aloha

The conversion would be much more straightforward if you used parts from a sidekick/tracker, especially as regards the front axle/suspension.

I'm told the 1.3 head can be used on the 1.6, but have no evidence of it.  The only gain would be in low end driveability.
