Suzuki: visual enhancements part 2, visual enhancements, shock mounts

Question
hey scotty,
so i was looking at izook, nice website, and i found those shackle kits you were talking about, now, what size would i want to get http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Product/tf-VehicleBrowse/s-10101/Pr-p_Product... that would be the fastest time to put in, give my car the most lift without having to correct steering, allow bigger tires, and fit with new springs (what new leaf springs would you recommend that i get.)  also is it ok for the car to be a little bit over the top dot on the dipstick after the car has been fully heated up?

thanks geoff

Answer
A two inch longer shackle front and rear will result in a one inch lift.  Another inexpensive lift is a body lift, simply installing thicker spacers between the frame and body.
Just do shackles and body lift for the time being, as going further will end up being much more expensive.
So long as your oil isn't overfull by the distance from "add" to "full", I wouldn't be in the least concerned.
The only thing you may have to do would be have someone fabricate lower shock mounts to permit the suspension to extend further with longer shackles.  Oh yeah, if you are really going off road even semi seriously, remove the sway bar and use it for a plant hanger.
