Suzuki: 88 Suzuki Samurai, suzuki samurai, fuse block

Question
My head lights come on when they want to, won't go off when I want them to. I've replaced the complete light control that is on the steering column and the wire has no shorts in it anywhere. But I still have lights come on driving down the road without my help, or come out of someplace to find the lights on. I've solved the problem by unplugging the lights. But when I need the  lights then I have to plug them back in. Can you help?

Answer
I heard of a situation like that that was caused by a short circuit in the fuse block.  The only thing you can do is to wait until it occurs, and start slowly and carefully tracing the wires back from the headlamps to determine where the unwanted power is coming from.
