Tips on Buying Cars: mercedes parts, 190e, first car

am buying my first car and i got a person selling a very good mercedes at a fare price. but people tell me mercedes parts are expensive. is it true? how expensive are they as compared to those of other cars like toyota, honda and the like. this is a 1991 190E 2.3l

The 1991 - 190E - 2.3Litre was a luxury well made vehicle, but lets look at some facts to consider, personally would I buy this vehicle, most likely not.

Should something go wrong expect to pay premium for labor and parts, that alone would steer me away from purchase unless you got money to burn, and the fact vehicle being 16 years old ?...no thanks...
