I would like to know some cars that are similar to a VW bug.  My mom was talking about the car that she used to have in the 80's, and she want's to get one like that for me.  Thanks!

Lindsay, you're talking about a quarter of a century ago and everything has changed.  Probably the closest thing right now is the Ford Focus which is an international car in great demand and seems to be a great little car.  If you are looking at a retro car try the Chrysler PT/  Go to edmunds.com and you can see and compare all the cars.  Best of luck to you.  Bud
