QuestionI put down $3000 on visa for purchase of 2006 lexus 400h.
Now I don't trust the sale person who sold me. He siad one previous dr. owner; now it's two. Said will fully certify but got me to initial "as is" box. kept the contract with him until I asked him to fax it to me, when I noticed what he made me initial. I really want to be on the consumers side, but in this case there will not be a refund unless you can prove misrepresentation or the dealer decide to submit a refund.
The sad part here is you signed a bill of sale , Ontario came out with a new type bill of sale for vehicle's a few months back, and in a very large box it's explained in a few simple words what AS IS stands for, You put your trust in the dealership without reading and then initialed the box ?
