Tips on Buying Cars: My first car..., car profiles, first car

Question
I'm buying my first car, and after scanning through several individual car profiles, I'm lost and still haven't found a good fit. Advice would be awesome. Try to narrow it down for me. Makes? Models?
I want:
-Used car. Pricing purposes.
-Preferably a large vehicle (I usually hit my head when getting into cars... just for convenience.)
-Something with good MPG; over 20.
-Reasonable price; around 10k?
-Safety features. Just as good as it gets.
-Long lasting. (under 90,000 miles)

I know thats specific and picky, but as close to those as possible. THANKS!
