Tires: lug/bolt pattern, lug bolt pattern, acura integra ls

Question
Car: 1994 Acura Integra LS hatchback 1.8LT 5 Speed.

I have a set of wheels that I received from a friend. The Lug pattern is different then that of my car, 3/4 holes match accept for one that is completely off. I realize that means the pattern is not meant for my car. I've talked to a couple people that have said I can take it to a place to get a new hole drilled to fit my pattern. how safe is this if its professionally done? or is this even practiced. the wheel holes themselves are covered by a chrome plate that hides the bolts.

p.s. if a new hole was made it would'nt be near any of the existing holes.

Thanks!

Answer
Hi Daniel,

I wouldn't recommend doing that because it can cause vibrations later on while your driving this car and could brake something because those rims aren't met to be use for this kind of car.You can have holes drilled in it but it wouldn't be worth it to be honest with you,If you are looking to get some good used rims i would check around some junkyards auto salvage like i have for people wanting used rims and offer them a good price for them. Better yet look for some on ebay i would rather be out a few dollars then taking a chance of tearing up my car .  Goodluck
