You can ask your dispatcher to look for you or you can bring someone to train and you can team up with this person. Looking for the "perfect" person is not instantaneous, but can flourish with time. I team with a gentleman who is a German National and I am Puerto Rican. after 2 years, we are best friends. Many people scratch their heads on how and why we're teaming, but it works. My partner is married and so am I, and make 80K a year, but it took a lot of years to get there.
Did you find a school to train? If not, try Schneider National, they will train you for free, you need to stay with them for a year or you have to pay them back, that will save you money.
