When it's foggy, your vision is diminished, so you'll need to drive your Dodge Avenger cautiously and slower than the speed limit, while making sure to keep enough distance between you and a vehicle in front of you so you'll have enough time to stop when it does. Fog can become denser fairly quickly, which increases the danger while driving. For extra safety, run your fog lights while you have your parking lights on.
Locate the multifunction lever, on the left side of the steering column.
Grasp the tip of the multifunction lever, and then rotate it to the first marking to turn on the parking lights.
Pull out the end of the multifunction lever to turn on the fog lights. The fog lights only work when the parking lights or headlights are on.
Push the end of the multifunction lever back in to turn off the fog lights.
