Auto Page alarm systems are manufactured by one of the most established security companies in the United States. The Auto Page alarm system is designed with different security features to protect your vehicle from theft. Some of the many features are starter disable output, passive arming, the car locator function and backup memory system. To take advantage of these features, it is necessary that you know how to install your Auto Page alarm system.
Turn the ignition to the off position before beginning installation. Put the violet-colored wire from the solenoid wires — a coil of wires wrapped around a tube — onto the starter cut relay, which is located in the ignition switch harness.
Remove the 2 to 20 amps fuses, then attach the red power wire to the power wire for your vehicle, located in the ignition harness.
Put the yellow wire from the six-pin harness with the ignition wire and attach them together. Occasionally there are two ignition wires. If this is the case, attach the pink wire from the six-pin harness to the second ignition wire.
Take the accessory wire for the climate system for your vehicle and attach it to the brown wire.
Locate the white wire and attach it to the parking light wire, which is connected to your vehicle's headlight switch. The white wire should be attached to any metal part of your vehicle's frame.
Locate the red wire coming from the siren and attach it to the red wire. The black wire from the siren should be attached to your vehicle's chassis. The red power wire should be attached to the vehicle's battery.
Put the LED on your dashboard and then connect the wire from it to the control module. The orange wire from the five-pin mini harness should be attached to the orange wire from the control module. The white wire from the mini harness should be attached to the dome light control output wire.
Put the pink wire and the factory alarm together and attach them. The gray wire should be attached to the truck release output wire for your vehicle. The blue wire should be attached to the input wire for your vehicle's hood/trunk pin switch.
Mount the antenna, and attach the black wire from the harness to the antenna. Attach the red wire to the control module. You can now test your Auto Page alarm system to ensure that it is working correctly.
