The Volkswagen Jetta is equipped with a number of technologies that are common to nearly all VW vehicles fresh from the dealership. These cars feature keyless entry systems and transmitters that allow you to control your door locks and trunk with a keyless remote. You can sync your remotes in seconds from your driver's seat and have the key FOBs ready to use quickly.
Enter your vehicle and insert one key into the ignition and another key into the driver's side door. Turn the key in the lock counterclockwise to the "Unlock" position and leave it there for 10 seconds until the car beeps three times, and then return it to the "Neutral" position.
Hit any button on all of your keyless remotes, and wait for the horn to beep after each remote to indicate successful programming.
Turn the door key back to the left and wait for the horn to beep three more times.
Remove your key from the ignition when you are finished to complete the programming sequence.
