How to Reset the Navigation PIN Code for a 2006 Honda Ridgeline

The 2006 Honda Ridgeline offers a navigation package as an upgrade. To operate the navigation system you must first enter an access code or PIN. Honda assigns the access code to the device during manufacturing. If you have misplaced or forgotten your access code, you will not be able to operate your navigation device. Fortunately, Honda provides owners with an opportunity to retrieve the access code and change it code to one that you prefer.

Things You'll Need

  • Vehicle identification number (VIN)
  • ZIP code
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Device serial number
  • Go to the Honda website.

  • Locate the Services category on the right side of the page and click "Honda Owner Link."

  • Locate the Quick Tasks area located on the left side of the page and click "Retrieve Radio/Navi Code." This will open a new window.

  • Click on the "Get Codes" tab.

  • Type the requested information into the areas provided, including your ZIP code and email address at time of purchase, VIN and the serial number of your device.

  • Click the "Submit" button to change your current PIN.
