How to Locate an A4 Fuse Box

The A4 is a small, front-wheel-drive sedan manufactured by Audi, a German automaker. The A4 is equipped with a four-cylinder engine and a manual transmission as standard, as well as stability control and side air bags. A six-cylinder engine and all-wheel-drive are available at extra cost. The electrical circuits of the A4 are protected by fuses in the fuse box. The first step in the inspection or replacement of fuses is to locate the fuse box.

Things You'll Need

  • Flat-blade screwdriver or key
  • Fuse puller (optional)
  • Open the driver's side door.

  • Locate the fuse box cover on the left side of the dashboard.

  • Pry the cover off with a flat-blade screwdriver or the edge of a key to reveal the fuse box.

  • Push the fuse box cover back into position until it snaps into place when finished.

  • Close the driver's door.
