How to Change Dodge Caliber Windshield Wipers

The Dodge Caliber comes with two front windshield wipers and one rear window wiper. The wiper blades remove rain, snow, sleet, mud and other debris from the windshield. Keeping your Dodge Caliber's wipers in good condition is essential for the vehicle occupant's safety. Periodically, the wipers will deteriorate and need replacement.

  • Pull the wiper arm away from your Caliber's windshield until it is at a right-angle from the windshield.

  • Push the release tab on the wiper to "unlock" it from the wiper arm. Slide the wiper blade off the wiper arm and gently place the wiper arm back against the windshield, taking care that it doesn't damage the windshield.

  • Lift the wiper arm from the windshield and slide the replacement wiper onto the wiper arm until it "clicks" into place. Check to make sure it is secure by pulling gently on the wiper.

  • Repeat the process for the wiper on the other side of the vehicle.
