The headlight assembly protects the bulbs and wiring for your 2000 Nissan Frontier's headlights. If the headlight assembly on your truck is cracked or broken, it can introduce water to the bulbs and wiring, risking the possibility of an electrical short. Change the assembly right away to protect your truck and keep your headlights in proper working order.
Open the hood of your Nissan Frontier. Pull the electrical connector away from the rear of the bulb.
Turn the bulb retaining ring counterclockwise and remove it from the headlight assembly. Pull the headlight bulb straight back away from the assembly.
Pull the headlight assembly straight out, away from the truck. The assembly will be free of the truck once the bulbs are removed.
