The headlights on your Saturn Aura need to be replaced when they burn out. The most common cause of headlight failure is normal use. However, an electrical short can cause premature failure of the headlight. Replacement headlights can be purchased from most auto parts stores. You will need the part number printed on the base of the old headlight in order to buy the correct size replacement headlight.
Open the hood and remove the power connector from the back of the headlight ballast.
Turn the headlight counterclockwise and pull it out of the housing assembly.
Align the tabs of the new headlight with the notches cut into the headlight housing. Push the headlight into the housing and turn it clockwise to lock the headlight into the housing.
Reconnect the power connector to the ballast.
