Currie Enterprises Jeep TJ V-Bumper - 4-Wheel & Off-Road Magazine

We are installing Currie Enterprises’ new TJ V-Bumper on our Scratch-Built Scrambler because we liked the design and look of them so much. The lightweight bumper is made from thick steel and features an angled bottom and deflection ends, which offer a better approach angle and will slide over rocks easier.

We also like that the bumper is 45 inches long and extends out over the tires a bit. This should help keep the Jeep somewhat street-legal compared to other stubby front rock bumpers. The Warn 9.5ti is a top-of-the-line winch that will give us years of dependable service. Stay tuned for the full installation of the bumper and winch in future chapters of the Scratch-Built Scrambler build.

Since the bumper is made for a Jeep TJ, we had to make some modifications to it to fit it to the Jeep, but we feel it looks great while offering good protection. We also decided to install a Warn 9.5ti 9,500-pound winch for dependable recovery.
