If you own an old Jeep, you know that after years of weathering, the plastic that holds the headlight adjustment screws becomes brittle and breaks. Since we are the considerate drivers we are, we think keeping the lights on our lifted rigs properly adjusted is important. Properly adjusted lights not only keep the beam from burning the hair off the back of the driver’s neck in front of us, they also make driving safer for everyone.

We picked up some new headlight assemblies and parking lights from Omix- Ada. The company makes just about any part you might need for the repair or restoration of a Jeep. Each assembly kit comes with a light, a bucket, a light retainer ring, and screws. The headlight outer bezels are sold separately.

Now we won’t have an issue adjusting the headlights when playing around with the height of our Jeep.

The original screws will need to be used to mount the headlight bucket to the grille. The parking lights include the lens, light bulb, seal, and bucket. The new headlight bezels beat the old rusty one we had any day. We can’t tell you how many Jeep headlights we have worked on over the years where the retainer for the adjustment screws are broken off. We placed a little grease on the new retainers for ease of adjustment.
