NGM Diesel Performance offers a Cummins roller rocker arms package
for 24-valve engine owners. Its totally redesigned, full-needle-bearing fulcrum and roller billet-steel valve bridges were created for increased strength and more clearance around common-rail injectors. The lightweight kit is said to be a pound lighter than the factory parts and provides up to 20 additional horsepower on stock engines (and much more on modified powerplants). NGM’s Cummins roller rocker arms kit is a drop-in replacement for most applications, is fully rebuildable, and retails for $1,800.

Duramax Rear Engine Plate
If your Duramax is in the neighborhood of 1,000 hp—especially if you’re sled pulling—some rear engine rigidity may be what you need. According to All Season Diesel Performance, high power levels can cause distortion of both the block and rear engine plate. This distortion can cause coolant leakage, and the flexing can even break head bolts and distort head bolt bosses. Its track-tested, billet-aluminum rear engine plates dramatically reduce this flex and distortion, fit ’01 to ’10 engines, and come with or without mid-mounting tabs.

Compounds For 6.7L Power Stroke

68RFE Billet Input Shaft
As the 6.7L Cummins’ power potential has increased, so has the stress level placed on the transmission behind it. ATS has recently solved another weak link in the 68RFE automatic transmission with its vacuum-melted, 300M billet-steel input shaft. Units were designed and tested using a CAD system that allowed for modeling and material strength analysis. In production, inputs are first machined, and then splined and heat-treated. In addition, each shaft undergoes a finishing process that ensures clean fitment and improved fatigue resistance.

Lifetime Oil Filters
Scotts Performance now offers lifetime, reusable oil filters for all Duramax, Cummins, and ’03 to ’11 Power Stroke engines. With utmost durability in mind, the K&P Engineering filter element is made from medical-grade, T304 stainless steel micronic filter cloth for unmatched protection against contamination, and the adhesive used in the filter assembly process is good up to 600 degrees. Oil is magnetically pre-filtered thanks to a nickel-plated, neodymium magnet in the top of the element. Its twist-lock design ensures proper filter placement and allows easy disassembly, inspection, and cleaning.

Performance Flexplates
If you’re planning on adding a performance transmission and torque converter to your modified ’94½ to ’10 Power Stroke, it’s an ideal time to upgrade flexplates.
