Product Spotlight: Unimog and Lego Connect For the TECHNIC U400

As part of the 60th anniversary celebration of Unimog, parent company Mercedes-Benz has teamed up with Lego to produce a replica of the iconic U400. The Lego Unimog U400 is a 1:12-scale replica and will be the largest TECHNIC model ever produced.   |   Lego Unimog Technic U400 Front View "The Unimog vehicles are truly legendary and have a real place in the hearts of both those who drive them and those who simply admire them, so this scaled-down U400 is undoubtedly the ultimate toy!" said Mark Hopkins, Unimog UK Sales Manager. The Lego Unimog U400 will 15 inches long, and will consist of 2,048 pieces. Lego went to great lengths to include detailed and moving parts such as a pneumatically-operated crane, a four-wheel drive chassis, moving engine pistons, a full suspension, and a front winch.   |   Lego Unimog Technic U400 Rear View "While the Unimog is a necessity 'workhorse' for some operations, it is also a vehicle that captures the imaginations of those who drive and work them daily, so we are delighted to be celebrating our 60th birthday by creating the most complex model in the TECHNIC range for Unimog enthusiasts to create and enjoy," said Hopkins.
