Are you tired of settling for "close enough" when it comes to timing your engine? SMT Performance has developed an adjustable cam gear for the 5.9L 12-valve Cummins. SMT's gear design allows you to degree the camshaft and perform timing changes in a fraction of the time it currently takes. You simply loosen the locking bolts, align your desired cam timing, and re-tighten the locking bolts. According to SMT Performance, its quick and easy adjustment makes it ideal while at the track, or tuning on the dyno. The adjustable cam gear sells for $499.
