Auto Insurance Claims: Motor Claim, insurance practices, sure what country

Question
Hi on 11th of september i was travelling along a main road when up ahead a car was waiting to pull out on the left. As i approached she pulled out in front of me and i hit her rear offside. My car was totalled and i injured my back, neck and knee. About 1 week ago after the accident the other parties insurance company excepted liability over the phone. I am claiming compensation for pain and suffering and made there insurance company aware of this and see would they settle with me. but instead they have this morning sent me a cheque for my wrote off car and the letter says this: we enclosed a cheque in full and final settlement of all claims your client has agaisnt the insured arising out of the accident. Paymnet is made without admission of liability.

I am dealing with a injuries board and dont want to bank my cheque just incase they then say that i have excepted this is the end by banking the cheque.

Kind Regards

Answer
Hi Callum,

Unfortunately, you have not asked any questions here for me to answer.

However, if you are simply looking for confiirmation, then you are correct.

Also I'm not sure what country you are in. I only have knowledge of U.S. insurance practices.

I hope this helps
