Auto Insurance Claims: Old accident, acciden, statute of limitations

My wife was in an acciden in October of 2006. The other lady was at fault and her insrance (State Farm) agreed to pay. On 3 occasions the adjuster was unable to keep the appointment to look at the truck. I am wondering how long after the accident can we still pursue this claim. We have not spoken to Sate Farm in months.

I'm pretty sure the statute of limitations is 2 years for property damage.  Your insurance company should be helping you with this.
