Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: Orifice Tube Location, chevy suburban, compaired

Hi there!
My husband is re-doing our A/C in our 95 Chevy Suburban....it has both front and rear A/C/dual system...He can't seem to find the Orifice tube and is getting very frustrated! Can you help? Do you know where it's located?

Hello Tiffany,The front orifice tube may be in the condenser inlet connection.It`s near the front grill on the right side of truck. The rear orifice is located in the inlet line on the evaporator.Just a reminder, on some trucks the factory has installed the orifice in the front evaporator inlet line also.Both evaps inlet lines are small in diameter as compaired to the other side of the system.
