Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: Heater-defroster, fuse panel, plymoth

My son has a 1992 Plymoth Lazer.
The problem is that the heater and the defroster don't work.
It doesn't do anything, makes no noise, when you turn either on.
It worked fine the last time he used it which was last winter.
We thought it might possibly be a fuse, but we don't know where to look for sure to find the correct fuse.......under the dash, under the hood??
If you could help us, it would be greatly appreciated as it is getting pretty cold here in Kansas and will of course get much worse.
The fact that he works nights doesn't help with the situation either.

The fuse panel is usually located under the dash to the right of the brake pedal. Take a test light and with the ignition key ON test each fuse until you find one that is blown. If you do NOT find one, Let me know.
