Auto body repair & detailing: F-150 repair, ford f 150, 2006 ford f 150

Question
Yesterday while getting our Christmas tree at a farm, I backed into a wood post going less than 5mph with our 2006 Ford F-150.  The bumper has no visable cracking and just a small dent the size of a dime on the right corner.  However, it did push that side the bumper all the way in to the truck.  Any idea of what damage was done and what will need to be repaired?

Thanks.

Answer
You need to see a body shop for a proper damage assessment. There are probably bent brackets and a bent bumper face bar. You can try loosening up the bolts on that side of the bumper and trying to adjust it out, but expect the worst. Bumpers aren't made like they used to be. Bill
