Auto body repair & detailing: painting and detailing, chevy celebrity, paint job

i just bought a 87 chevy celebrity, (embarrassing i know) lol. but i would like to know what is the best (and cheapest) paint that would be available for me to use. because it really needs a paint job. lol.
& what are some good detailing tips you might have

     it is really hard to say over the computer. it really depends on what and how much of the car you are going to paint, and how you plan on putting the paint on the car. i think your best bet would be to try and get some local help . this way you can explain just what you plan on painting. as for detailing tip ,this also depends on what you want to do. local help would be your best bet in both cases. sorry i couldn't help more. thanks for writing.
