Auto Parts: car troubles, checking transmission fluid, vacuum leak

my car is having a problem going up hills (no power) and it also has a hissing noise coming from engine like loosing air i checked all hoses and can't find one not attached but this morning when checking transmission fluid i found a part just sitting in the engine its a hose Part#asm yf 12-54023a26-aa  sae t50 this was just sitting in back or under where you fill transmission fluid what is this and where does it go the car only loosing power when accelerating up hills and makes that hissing sound only when accelerating could u plze help in desperate need of help don't want to bring to auto mechanic cuz they see a woman coming they seen to rip us off plze help

    You've got a vacuum leak.  That hose may the problem, or some other hose, or the intake manifold.  Finding that hose is your best clue.  It has to have been installed somewhere, you're going to have to look hard to see where it goes.  Have someone rev the engine while you listen for the whistling noise that a vacuum leak causes.  That should let you find the upstream end of the leak.  When you reinstall the hose it ought to hang close enough to the termination that you can see it and reconnect it.
