How do I take the wiper blade assembly off the spline?

Hi Benjamin,

There are two different styles of wiper arm attachment.
Bolt-on style:
Remove the cover and lock-nut from the wiper arm you need to adjust and pull it straight-off. Re-align it and tighten down the lock-nut.
Clip style:
raise the end of the wiper arm up until it rests, pull the small metal tab from the base of the arm where it attaches to the wiper transmission and pull straight-up. Re-align and push the clip back into position.

If you've purchased wiper blade replacements, more detailed instructions are probably included in the package.
