Auto Parts: AUTO PART, crank shaft, rod assembly

Question
WHAT IS THE PISTON&CRANK SHAFT?

Answer
Hi Nabeel,

A piston is an aluminum plug that rides up and down in the cylinder block. The piston is connected by a connecting rod to the crankshaft which transmits the up-and-down motion of the piston and rod assembly into circular motion which is usable by the transmission to make power and forward motion.

Thanks for the question, I hope this information was helpful to you.
