Car Alarms: viper car alarm, viper car alarm, alarmtek

Question
I have a viper car alarm that keeps going off a few minutes after I set the alarm. The red LED also keeps flashing 3 times in a row with the alarm disarmed. Since I do not have a manual can you tell me what the problem may be?
