Car Alarms: 2005 CRV alarm, dome light, actuator

My CRV alarm just won't switch off - I think it is because the door actuator has failed and therefore the fob will not open or lock the doors (they think the driver's door is not closed).  The ultrasonic alarm will therefore not reset (only resets using fob)

Can you give me any advice on either resetting the alarm manually or over-riding the door actuator.

(The dome light does not come on when you open the doors, but it also does not come on if you turn it to on position either so that issue may just be a blown bulb)
