Car Alarms: gt alarm, ford rs, 12 volt

i have a ford rs focus mk1, the car has a standard ford alarm and a gt alarm fitted as standard. i cant stop the gt alarm from going off so i have taken the battery out. iv tried a new batt but no luck. please help cheers John
