Car Alarms: Dodge Ram 2500 2008 Panic Alarm, dodge ram 2500, fuel injection system

Question
I just purchased the material for my car from your site it doesn't have any info on the factory installed panic systems. My dodge ram is sitting and it just starts sounding without anyone touching the panic button. I will hit the panic button to turn it of and it will stop but restart again without warning. I disconnected both batteries negative to reset it stopped it once but it cam right back in an hour. Then next time I reconnected the negative it went right off as soon as the contact touched. How do I disable the panic system?

Answer
Please look again. It does tell you to use the key sense
wire to disable the factory alarm.

You will need to do some electronic surgery to
do it however. You would also need
a remote device to control it. Like a keyless entry
or after market alarm. Yell at Dodge, not me.
I just report the news. :>(

But in essence, this vehicle has at least 2 security
systems. I told you about both.

Fisrt is the transponder in the ignition that shuts
down the fuel injection system if breached.
This requires a bypass module.

The next is the noise generating, headlight flashing part of
that system and you need to send a pulse to the key
sense wire by relay application to disarm it.

Lastly, you may have an after market alarm. If this
is the case, you would have a siren as well. Do you?
Is this the issue?

If not, the best thing I can tell you is it's a warrantied
item and should most definately be service by and explained
to you by Dodge. Not alot ypu can do without taking the ignition
column apart and following the directions sent. (neg relay)
