Car Alarms: resetting after-market alarm, valet mode, toyota corolla

My 1998 toyota corolla has an after-market alarm installed. The alarm will not disarm and continues to go off. I have a valet switch that only switches up and down on side panel.The car is now in anti-theft mode. How can I reset alarm?

Ok, should be easy.

I believe in your case, try the following procedure,
key on, flip switch in opposite direction, key off.

This should reset the alarm and allow you to
go on your way.

Just Repeat these steps to place it
back to valet mode.

That should do it.
