Car Alarms: automate remote starter, ford exploer, keyless entry systems

I have a 1997 ford exploer with unkown model # I have owned it for 10 years. when I try to remote start the car starts and runs at high idle for about 10 seconds and then shuts off. some off the other features are not working like remote unlock only unlocks 2 of the door and not tailgate
do you have any sugestions on how to fix this problem thank you
