Car Alarms: 97 acura cl 3.0 key fob, acura cl, taking your time

I recently acquired a a 97 acura cl which comes with security system. I was given only 1 fob, and even though the light works (on the fob) the vehicle does not react. Any suggestions? thanks for taking your time to help

If you lost power on the vehicle, the remote could
have reset. But that's not something I do here.
Best thing to do is to go to a site like
www.KEYNFOB.com and identify the remote & alarm,
then locate the manufacturer for better information.
