Car Alarms: ungo car alarm, car alarm system, ungo car alarm

Question
i bought a 1997 chevrolet truck and it has an ungo car alarm system on it.. well the system is apparently old and does not want to work all the time. the keyless entries are getting old... well is there any way i can fix this problem or do i need to just purchase a new alarm system? and if i purchase a new one how can i get the old one out to replace it?

Answer
A new one at this point will be much cheaper than
repairing or replacing remotes, and you get more bang
for your buck these days.

The labor is either up to you and friends help,
or take it into a local circuit city/best/buy for a new one.
They will do the removal.

But likely as not, a good shadetree installer
can do this by herself/himself with the right tools
and information.

let me know if you'd care to try it.
