Car Alarms: Python alarm goes off randomly., keyless entry systems, bells and whistles

Question
I have a python alarm system in my 98 Honda Civic (non-factory install).  I've had it for about a year and now it is going off randomly with no apparent outside influence.  It frequently goes off in the middle of the night, as frequently as every other day.  It is all the lights, bells, and whistles...as if someone had set it off.  Is there a way that I can fix it so it stops malfunctioning?
