Car Alarms: car alarm LED light, vantage point, trouble cause

Question
i have the Audiovox APS996A and the LED light keeps blinking even after I have unlocked the car and also while I am driving. How can I get it to stop after I have unlocked the car?
Also, everytime I unlock the car, the pager remote indicates that the hood has been hit but this isnt the case because I have tried locking and unlocking right after and it still does that. What is wrong with the remote?

Hard to say at my vantage point.
Without first hand inspection I can't
speculate as to the trouble & cause-repair.

My best suggestion is to take it to
the local car alarm shop for hands on evaluation,
and see if they can determine the cause, and
affect repair if needed.

This is one of those situations that I'd need to see
it to make an intelegent judgement on it.
