Car Alarms: 98 malibu pljx install, technical support desk, crank sensor

Question
i recently bought a 98 malibu for short money and the battery was dead. i tried to get it to start w/a booster pack and it starts and stalls within 5-10 seconds.i purchased ib-pljx module because i thought that the passlock 2 was not reading the key.i can hear the fuel pump run. i thought that the module would bypass the passlock but i still get the same results..i also tried to charge the battery and removed the loch cylinder i then turned the key on for 3 cycles of 15 minutes each. i dont have the theft light flashing and it only appears when the key is on w/ out cranking ignition. am i supposed to scotch block the wires into the harness or splice into the wires and leave the other end dead? i realize that there may be another problem but it does have spark and fuel enough to run for a short time.i think the coil pack is ok and the crank sensor is ok and the fuel pump is strong...i need help PLEASE

Answer
Understood, but I am not the GM guy around here
I specialize in Japanese vehicles. When installation
questions arise on this module, I refer them to
the manufacturers technical support desk.

The best thing to do here is to
call 888.745.6449 for technical support.

Please make sure you explain to them you are trying to remote
start in your vehicle and need some help with bypassing using
the PLJX module.

It is the INTENDED use of this module.

The happy coincedence using this device is that is does
keep passlock disengaged when the (-) input wire is
kept grounded. They may not be inclined to assist
you if this is the intended use, so you are installing
a remote starter.

Side note: If it's the OMEGA IB-PLJX, it is the same device.
Patent is held by Trilogix, and is sold at Omega &
DIRECTED Electronics as well (IM-PLJX) I sell both
for the same price. They are identicle.

Just say The PLJX module when asking for help at
Trilogix.

They should be able to help
trouble shoot this for you.
