Car Alarms: 712T Valet keyless entry problems, mercury sable, support inquiry

I recently had a 712T Valet alarm system installed on a 1999 Mercury Sable. After using it at most on two application it, all the locks do not work right for at least 10 minutes.Could it be a overheating problem or what?
