Car Alarms: asp 997, brain box, chevy truck

hello i have a asp 997 remote start alarm installed in my 99 chevy truck, the two way remote works good some times, other times i can be right next to the truck and it wont work right away, is there a way to boost the remote signal or should i try to reroute the antenna to the side or back window from the front window near the mirror, any help is thanked, just want better range also if possible

You can move the antenna around for best over all range
range and affix into place with double side tape.

Keep away from any tint, and metal.
Keep it horizontal if at all possible.
And make sure there are no brakes or
kinks in the wire to the brain box.

I don't know the system you have there, but this
is how we would commonly procede to trouble
shoot it a system with range issues.
