Car Alarms: Alpine SEC-8052, radar sensor, good answer

I would like to adjust the sensitivity of my "radar Sensor"...at least that is what I think they call the sensor that warns you if you approach to closely to the vehicle.  I did look for support at the Alpine website, but the alarm equipment is so old they no longer support it.  I would guess it is controller via the remote, but would like to have direction before I just try different buttons and really mess it up.  Thanks for any help you can provide me.
